Raft Race 2008


14th June 2008 was the date of this years Scout Raft Race at Daventry Country Park, which was a lovely day, and enjoyed by all taking part whether their  team won or not.
We had 10 groups taking part with two groups putting two teams in.

Black Chimera (Heyford)

As no other explorers took part a team of leaders hastily built a raft and competed against them.
Due to the excess weight on the leaders raft, the explorers took full advantage and swept to victory
