I am pleased to announce that David Curtis has been appointed Group Scout Leader at Woodford Halse and I am sure David will take this role on with enthuseasm and care.

David has now stood down from ADC Group Support as well as Nights Away Adviser Administration, therefore Lynda Lewcock will be taking over Nights Away Adviser and Permits and Administration and all NAN forms should keep coming forward to myself as normal.  I have asked David to return any nan forms he may receive back to sender with instructions to forward to me.  David will be staying on District Communications and website.

I am also pleased to announce that Foggy (John Driver), as well as being the DESC, will be the District Activity Permit Adviser and work closely with the LTM Linda Lewcock.  Foggy has a good underpinning knowledge and practical experience in this area and I would encourage you all to use his skills and knowledge.

Pete Malpas (Daventry District DC)
