GUIDELINES FOR CAMPERS

Thank you for choosing Welton Campsite – we hope that you have a safe and enjoyable stay. These notes provide you with some information about using the site and we hope that it will answer all your questions but please contact us if you have any queries or require further information.

ARRIVAL

Please approach the site along the main road with caution. There is only room for one car, until gate is opened, for turning into field.

Please report arrival (Bob Lewcock 01327 878341, mobile 0795 2227960) so that we know that you are on site.

You will need the combination number for the lock on the gate.

There is no telephone on site. Please bring mobile with you.

VEHICLES AND PARKING

Please park sensibly in the parking area.

CARAVANS

If your group needs to bring a caravan please contact

DOGS

Dogs are allowed on site. Owners will be totally responsible for them.  All dogs to be kept on a lead.

FIRES

The campsite has designated camp fire areas.  No fires are permitted outside of these areas.

RUBBISH

Please take home all rubbish. When camping please burn as much of your rubbish as possible. 

Remember to take home burned tins and foil.

NEWT HOUSES

You may come across piles of sticks marked with yellow or red stakes.  These are not piles of timber for burning…they are habitats for newts! Please make sure everyone in your party knows the newts, and their houses, are not to be disturbed.

PROTECTED WOODLAND

Welton Campsite is ‘Protected Woodland’.  Your party must not cut any live bushes or trees.

EMERGENCIES

Groups are responsible for their own first aid cover. However, should the unfortunate happen and you need to call the emergency services we ask that you contact Bob Lewcock 01327 878341, mobile 0795 2227960, immediately after dialling 999.

Please be prepared to give the emergency services the combination number of the lock on the gate that it will enable them to reach you quickly. Also ensure someone is at the gate to meet the emergency services.

EVACUATION

In the case of a fire please dial 999 and take your group to the nearest meeting point to be determined by yourselves on arrival at camp.

LEAVING THE SITE

Please inform Bob Lewcock 01327 878341, mobile 0795 2227960, when you are ready to leave the site.

PAYMENT

All outstanding monies are to be paid within a week of leaving the camp site.
