1. Arrival and Departure times are negotiable. Please ask at time of booking so arrangements can be made with Site Manager.
2. In the event of a booking cancellation at less than 7 days notice, or in the event of a non-arrival, the right is reserved to charge the full price. Cancellations MUST be made in writing.
ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE. A DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED WITH EVERY BOOKING MADE.
3. We will hold your booking on a provisional basis for 4 weeks only from the date of booking. If a deposit has not been received within this 4 weeks we may cancel the provisional booking. Please contact Booking Secretary if you wish to discuss this.
4. Full payment must reach Booking Secretary before your visit; or your Group must have purchased a £50 Season Ticket from the Booking Secretary. (The £50 Season Ticket is renewable on 1st April each Year).

6. Charges are subject to change and are not necessarily those that were current at the time of making a booking. It is the responsibility of the Group to check up to date prices.
7. We reserve the right to charge groups who damage the site or who fail to leave the site in a reasonable condition. The site must be left in a clean and tidy state. ALL RUBBISH TO BE REMOVED FROM THE SITE.
8. The ‘responsible adult’ (Camp Leader) is responsible for the First Aid for your group. We do not supply any First Aid Kits on site.
9. By booking the Welton site the ‘responsible adult’ is adhering to The Scout Associations Policy relating to Child Protection, to safeguard the welfare of all members by protecting them from physical or emotional damage.
10. Responsibility for the supervision and welfare of groups’ remains with the ‘Responsible Adult’ (Camp Leader) notified on the booking form.
11. Whilst we will always endeavour to allocate groups to the area within the camp site they have
requested, if conditions so dictate, we reserve the right to move areas without prior consent.
12. Only GREEN liquid to be used in portable toilets. Toilets to be emptied in the Cess Pit.
13. Dogs are allowed on the Welton Campsite. All dogs must be kept on a lead. Owners will be totally responsible for them. Owners must clean up after their dogs and dispose of any waste in an appropriate manner. DOG WASTE MUST NOT BE PUT INTO CESS PIT.
14. Should you have to have your vehicle removed from the campsite the cost for this to be paid totally by yourselves.
15. The speed limit is 5 miles per hour on Welton Campsite.
16. Knives, axes and saws are only allowed in the woods with the prior consent of the warden.
17. Scouts using knives, saws and axes MUST be supervised by a responsible adult.
18. If intending to use open fires/camp fires you will need to bring your own timber. This may be dropped off at the site prior to your camp by arrangement with the warden.
19. If you go off-site, remember it is your responsibility to ensure security of your own equipment.
20. Any serous contravention of the terms and conditions could lead to your group (or individuals) being asked to leave the site.
A signed copy of the terms and conditions should be held on site during your event and must be
shown at the request of the wardens.
